Steffen Peddie

Steffen Peddie - Best Intentions

Steffen always has the best intentions, his heart’s in the right place... well okay, most of the time, just things don’t turn out the way he wanted them to. With a colourful life behind him, you’re invited to hear about the trials and tribulations of wearing spandex in public, accidentally assaulting teenagers and being a father of four.

A former double-act partner with Ross Noble and soon to be seen in BBC2 sitcom Hebburn, Steffen's wry observational humour makes him one of those acts that cause you to bounce in your chair and smack your mate next to you shouting ‘IT’S TRUE!’

“He holds the audience's attention throughout and leaves the stage with me wanting more” - BBC

“A fresh emerging Geordie talent” - Metro

“Johnny Vegas may still hold the fat gags crown, but Peddie would make a worthy understudy” - The Journal

Andy Fury

Andy Fury LovesFilm

Growing up in a god-fearing household where films were banned, Andy Fury almost reached the age of 30 without seeing any cult classics (even Back To The Future). Leaving the church meant being able to drink, have sex with women and covet his neighbour's house, but he couldn't talk to them about Goodfellas.

On his 29th birthday, the Hilarity Bites New Act Of The Year decided he'd watch one film every day for the next year in an attempt to catch up with his childhood. Find out what happens when one man tries to fit a lifetime of memories into 365 days in this debut hour from the award-winning Geordie comedian.

“Brilliant... The next Pub Landlord of comedy” - Hexham Courier

“Amiable and genuinely entertaining” - Floatation Suite

“DA very funny man with a big future ahead of him” - Corby Radio

This show is free entry, and a bucket collection will be made at the end of the show. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show will start at 8pm.
