Against 7,840 other Comedians, some Olympics, weather, and entropy you need something special in your bag. Silky found his whilst showering.

Here’s what happened next.

As seen on BBC1, BBC2, C4, Paramount and more.

“A very, very funny fella. Just brilliant” - John Bishop

“Funny & clever” - Tim Minchin

Diane Spencer

Diane Spencer

Award-winning comedian Diane Spencer comes to Darlington to preview her new show about perspective. Part autobiography, all comedy from a rising star compared to Joan Rivers and Sarah Millican. It includes illegal cockpit plane rides, alcoholic induced personality disorders and ginger physics. Possibly offensive.

Diane won the Chortle award for Best Newcomer in 2011, and in the same year was nominated for Best Comedy at the Adelaide Fringe awards. She has also released two DVDs and this will be the third solo show that she has taken to the Edinburgh Festival.

“raucously entertaining” - Chortle

“indiscreetly brilliant” - Scotsman

“Diane Spencer is a staggering storyteller” - Sunday Express

This show is free entry, and a bucket collection will be made at the end of the show. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show will start at 8pm.
