“The perfect way to entertain the whole family” - Three Weeks

“A highlight for children... fun, rowdy feel of a proper comedy club” - The Guardian

Resident compere Tiernan Douieb presents a top line-up featuring Nick Doody and Irishman Martin Mor:

Martin Mor

Martin Mor

Martin comes from Northern Ireland, and after a successful career as a circus performer, he turned his attention on the unsuspecting comedy circuit. With over 25 years experience as a professional performer, Martin has established himself as one of the UK’s most popular and in-demand comedians. Combining startlingly original material with bold, energetic improvisation, his love of working the audience, and an inability to remember his script, mean that every show is a unique interactive live event, and no two shows are ever the same.

Very much the comedian’s comedian, Martin has been the support act of choice for; Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner. However, in his own right has performed successfully at events of all description; from the Hammersmith Apollo to a show for the inmates of an Italian prison, from comedy clubs to performing before members of the British Royal Family.

With numerous appearances on radio and television, Martin has worked at all levels of the industry; being a warm up man, devising and performing his own television show, and writing jokes for some of the biggest names in British comedy - and his photograph is featured on the popular board game Trivial Pursuits, (The Genus Edition)! On an arts entertainments square, he is seen wearing a leotard.

“Martin is the act that has influenced me the most, the UK comedy circuit would not be the same without him” - Frankie Boyle

“Extremely funny” - Peter Kay

“This guy's great” - George Best

“He wore us out with laughter... Irrepressible exuberance” - The Scotsman

Nick Doody

Nick Doody

Nick Doody is one of the brightest talents on the comedy circuit. Sharp and topical, he’s not afraid to say what he thinks; his brand of political comedy and satire has won him fans all over the country, and all over Twitter as well, where he’s polled as one of the most influential names in British comedy.

Nick’s career as a stand-up got off to a pretty good start; whilst still a student, Nick supported Bill Hicks on his final tour of the UK... Bill himself had requested Nick.

Since then Nick has become a familiar face on the European comedy circuit, and he is also in demand as a writer for both television and radio, writing for the likes of The Now Show, The Late Edition and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.

Very impressive… unfailingly good punchlines... intelligent and funny… comes with the Chortle seal of approval - Chortle

“Some of the best political material I have heard in a while... comic genius” - The Scotsman

Tiernan Douieb

MC Tiernan Douieb

Tiernan has been doing the stand-up thing for a little while now. In that time he’s graced many a stage with his beardy face, playing gigs all over the UK and abroad. Douieb’s friendly manner and fast paced gags have made him a highly sought after compere and act on the circuit.

Over the past few years Tiernan has supported International star Jim Jefferies and Russell Howard, worked as warm up for Mark Watson’s We Need Answers, BBC’s Dick and Dom’s Funny Business.and played at some of the top music festivals in the UK.

“Douieb performs with such confidence that it's easy to overlook how well his material comes together, or how often he generates laughter” - Fest

“Small in stature, not in talent” - The Scotsman

“With this fresh style and material he blows so many other Fringe comedians out of the water” - Three Weeks
